What to Look for When Buying Motorcycle Rain Pants or a Rain Suit
When you must hit the road with your motorcycle – and when there is a chance of heavy rain – another important safety aspect is a waterproof rain suit or rain pants. It is a safety aspect in that it provides you the opportunity for a bit more comfort than say – riding down the highway drenched to the bone.
Allowing yourself the opportunity to be as comfortable as you can – and a bit more dry will also allow you to concentrate on the task at hand. And that should be to arrive safely to your destination.
Selecting the right rain suit or rain pants for you is all about the comfort – Forget to a degree how you look. Make sure the suit fits. Being able to fit your boot through the pant leg easily – off and on – is key. Heat resistant material – at least from knee to ankle – is another.
Outer zippered pockets and a breathable design are also desirable.
Finally, remember that you may not get a perfect fit – especially when ordering on line. – But, it is better to have a fit a half size to large than a half size too small.
